Ten years ago, Leodis Stairlifts were invited by ITV Studios to install a stairlift on the set of Emmerdale.
Martin surveyed the staircase and met several members of the cast.
A couple of days later he installed a stairlift for the character Katie who had been injured after a fall down a disused mineshaft.
Katie was married to the squire Declan at the time and she used the stairlift until she made a full recovery (all fictional of course!)
