Leodis have been manufacturing and installing stairlifts in homes throughout the North of England for 30 years. This has led us to build up our portfolio and experience to provide the best service for clients.
Usually focusing on domestic properties, over the years we’ve helped a large number of people struggling with mobility issues either due to illness, disability or old age.
However this week, we’d like to draw attention to our commercial work too. It’s a common misconception that stairlifts are designed specifically for domestic properties.
Over the past 30 years, we’ve installed many stairlifts in commercial properties such as churches, nursing homes and libraries.
Our most recent commercial install was at Immingham Civic Centre.
Used for council meetings, the Civic Centre is home to an array of meeting and function rooms.
For this install in particular, we were approached about a stairlift for council members, as the meeting room was upstairs and certain members were beginning to struggle commuting up and down due to their age.
We were more than happy to assist the council with this install and recommended a Bison 180 Curved Stairlift for the property. This will allow members to safely and comfortably attend meetings.
A stairlift is a simpler and cheaper option than a lift. It allows users to sit comfortably whilst making their way up and down the stairs, as opposed to standing up in a lift. As the Civic Centre isn’t particularly large, this was the perfect solution for them.
Leodis install high quality stairlifts throughout the North of England, for both domestic and commercial properties. If this is something that you feel your property could benefit from, call us today on 0800 5426045.
