This February, every stairlift we supply comes with a little extra. To celebrate 26 years of Leodis, we’re giving £26 to your chosen charity when you buy any stairlift from us. And just in case you’re struggling for inspiration…
Saturday 4 February is World Cancer Day, a day of awareness and fundraising which aims to fight a disease that still kills 8.2 million people globally every year. Of those, almost half die prematurely.
Cancer is also a condition we come face to face with quite regularly. It’s easy to imagine that the stairlifts we install across the North are purely for the elderly – and many of them are – but often the reasons someone finds it difficult to get up and down stairs aren’t age related. Often, it’s that period of treatment, convalescence and recovery that leaves you needing a little extra help.
Happily, we often get to see both ends of the treatment spectrum – installing a rental stairlift when you need it most, and taking it away again when treatment’s done, you’re feeling better, and you have the all clear. Uninstalling a stairlift in those circumstances really is a great feeling.
£26 for 26
26 is a bit of a strange birthday to celebrate, but it’s a great excuse to do something for charity. This February, when you buy any stairlift from Leodis, we’ll give £26 to the charity of your choice. It doesn’t have to be a cancer charity – but given our own experiences, and as it’s World Cancer Day, wouldn’t it be great if it was?
