Q: what does a site survey involve?
A: Our 'Home Visit' allows us to view your location and ensure that the right stair lift is chosen for your location. We take between 30 - 60 minutes and will confirm with you at the time, the exact cost (with no hidden extras), and delivery time.
Q: Do you supply slim line models?
A: Yes, Leodis Stairlifts offer a range of slim line models to suit your need and your budget
Q: Do you supply recondition stair lifts?
A: Yes, Leodis Stairlifts supply quality reconditioned Stair lifts at competitive prices.
Q: What kind of warranty do you offer?
A: Leodis Stairlifts offer up to 3yr parts & labour warranty on selected new products and 18 month parts & labour warranty on recondition stair lifts. Other new stairlifts have an eighteen month warranty.
Q: How much does a Leodis Stairlift cost?
A: That depends on whether it is a straight or curved stair lift, and whether it is new or reconditioned. This would be confirmed during our FREE home visit.
Q: What delivery time will it be, once our order is placed?
A: For 'straight' stair lifts we can delivery and install the next day, if convenient to the client. For 'curved' stair delivery is 5 - 10 working days.
Q: What is the maximum weight a Leodis Stairlift can take?
A: The standard Leodis Stairlift can take up to 294 lbs (21 stone - 134 kg). Leodis can provide a heavy duty stair lift that can carry up to 350 lbs (25 stone - 160 kg)
Q: Do you supply battery operated stair lifts?
A: Yes, nearly all Leodis Stairlifts are battery operated and therefore will continue to operate even if a power cut takes place.
Q: How are Leodis Stairlifts fixed to the staircase & will it make a mess of our walls?
A: No, all our stair lifts are fixed to the stair treads.
Q: Will there be full access for other to pass on the stairs once the stair lift has been installed?
A: Yes, all Leodis Stairlifts models are slim line where the arms, footrest & seat are folded away, leaving the stair clear for full access as normal.
Q: I have a radiator at the bottom of the staircase. Will it have to be moved?
A: We will provide expert advice about his during our FREE home visit
Q: Will the door at the bottom of the staircase be a problem?
A: This is a common question, and can be easily solved by using a manual or powered hinge rail which will lift to leave the doorway free for normal use. Expert advice will be provided during our home visit.
Q: There are two of us who will want to use the stair lift, how will this work?
A: Your Leodis Stairlift will be supplied with two dual remote controls for the top & bottom of the stairs. This will enable either of you to call or send the stair lift when required.
Q: Do you buy back stair lifts?
A: Yes, we are always looking to purchase back top quality stair lifts to replenish our reconditioned stock, as there is always a demand for these.
